A whisper on the wind. The clang of swords. A lonely bagpipe's lament.

The Scottish highlands are filled with mystical qualities and I dream of visiting them someday. Of course, I want to take along my wonderful husband. Together, we have learned the joys of attending highland games in America, worked on his heritage, and discovered a lineage that links him and his family back to the MacBeans and, specifically, John Bean of Exeter. We keep working on the lineage which traces him back through the Robinsons to the Gunns.

After years of volunteering at the NH Highland Games, I began to think of a way to utilize my knowledge of all aspects of the games...food venues, concerts, highland attire, historical encampments, highland dress...and decided to put them in books.

My husband assisted with some historical aspects, a friend has aided me with info on witchcraft, and my own visits to other highland games helped come up with a plot for my time travel/Scottish historicals and paranormal Scottish legends.
